1st soccer game

Today we had our first game in the "micro b" soccer division. This is Pete giving his pre game pep talk. I don't know what he said, but the team sure knew which way it was to the right goal.

The other team was named the great white sharks, but we shamrocks sure showed them something. We had a great time and the team played great. Miles even had two goals.

Annie was the assistant assistant coach in charge of team record keeping and the scheduling of the mid season party.

Miles and Tulip do a great "swing your partner" before chasing after the ball. Analia and Jacob were fighting each other for the ball the whole game. We have to teach them to pass off and juke the d-#.
This is a great break away run by AJ (with the finish by Jacob). Yes... there are no goalies in this league. We also don't officially keep score, but the shamrocks won 7-2.

Sportsman-ship, enthusiasm, and a sense of humor: there's nothing better for a Saturday afternoon. Annie, good score keeping...Miles. ask Daddy about finding a broken pen during one of his first soccer matches...talk about keeping your eye on the ball.
Daddy, blogs are magic. Somehow they seem to shrink those 3,000 miles. Thank-you ! ! ! Love, CiCi

Way to go, my l'il chillins!!! Looks like soccer is fun for the whole family!

Awesome job on those goals, Miles- (but scoring is not the most important thing- it is teamwork!!) Aunt Suzi & Thunder are soooo proud of you!

You look like a good little record keeper, Annie!! I am glad that you take your job so seriously...building good work ethic from a young age!!! I know you will do a great job planning the mid season party since you are such a little party girl!

Love you guys!! Keep us updated on more soccer game fun!
