Low tide on a flat beach is great. The water in the upper beach "drains" out of the sand running down hill and forming small rivers.
I put this rock in the stream and this nice scour hole formed upstream.
This is some small tributaries into a major "pool." Nice deltas.
Ya gotta get a good lunch before you start playing.

It was a fantastic trip to the beach, and a fantastic trip to Cali. To see my three grandchildren having a ball on the beach is, to me, what this whole grandparent thing is all about. Can't wait 'till this summer.
P.S. Paul. next time; please, pleASE, PLEASE; less pictures of the kids, and more pictures of rocks and sand !!!
P.S. As I look at these pictures again (and it won't be the last time) I think that the smiles on the kids faces say it all...thank you for a wonderful day, and a wonderful week...I LOVE my San Diego family !!!
