My impression of Taiwan is that its a cross between China and Japan culturally. There is some high density livin on that island. I heard that some in Taiwan want to become the 51st state so that the US will provide protection from China when it finally takes the island back.
It seems like you can carry almost anything on a scooter.
I went up in the tallest building in the world, saw some buoys at the met office and ate lotsa noodles. It believe that there is one 7-11 store for each 50 Taiwanese people. It seemed like the entire west coast of the country is one city. Alex Hong, TRDI's rep in Taiwan is a nice guy but makes me a bit car sick when he drives.. gas / break / gas / break.
