Fishin

The early afternoon was exceedingly hot / humid. The air was so saturated with moisture that it felt like you had fluid on the brain.

Dad went to the bait store and came home with 12 meaty night crawlers for easy hookin. The fishing was fun for the kids for ~15 minutes before they decided that they would like to explore the dock and got figity. Even though the water was only ~2 ft deep and even Annie could have stood up if she had fallen off of the dock, I was a bit anxious.

When a storm approached and the light rain and thunder began in the distance, the kids went in to play with Mommom. Dad and I cooled off in the light rain and had a very relaxing peaceful time as the storm approached and the rain increased in intensity and got a bit closer. This storm reminded me of my days in G-Ville as it was over in 20 minutes.

Even though your fishing expedition got rained out- it seems like the short amount of time that you did get to fish was FUN!!!! LOVED seeing you guys even if I was not on my best behavior...You guys are awesome cousins and I love you!
