Ahhhhhh.... the evils of the Television for polluting the minds of children and middle aged parents. Annie saw Jakks Pacific Girl Gourmet cupcake maker on Nickelodeon (sp?) and this is what she asked Santa for Christmas.
The reviews stunk (see above), but Santa made it anyway cause its what little girl asked for when she sat on Santa's lap (see entry from 12/1/08).
Even though they looked like hell, Annie and Miles had a great time mixing and trying to work the icing lever. The contraption provided a solid 45 minutes of entertainment while making those 2x cupcakes, and they didn't taste too bad.
Next time, we will use the new mixer that mommy and daddy got for Christmas from Grandmomom and Laura when we want to make cupcake batter and still try the cupcake icing contraption for icing.

I wanted an EZ Bake Oven when I was a little girl, but CiCi insisted that anything baked by a 20 watt lightbulb could not be good for me. I guess I will just have to steal your oven when I come out to see you. Then I can make tons of sweets to make up for not having it when I was a kid!!!
